This trip tick consists of 3-28"w x 38"h digital direct prints on brushed aluminum panels. Total dimensions : 92"w x 38"h with 4" spacing in between. The material is weather proof sign quality but it can scratch and UV may fade it with time. Each panel has a .75" hanging cleat to offset from wall.
The material in these images is compacted new extruded copper and aluminum set to be recycled. While the images may resemble decaying flesh and bones, or fossils in stone, we find ourselves thinking about the benefits and effects of recycling with these details of beauty in the process. Could the thin green wires indicate our attempts to contain the process, or how small our actual commitment is to reclaiming resources?
